Cogent People Establishes Formal PMO & QMO With Strategic New Hire

Columbia, Md., October 2, 2023 — Mekel Dreher has joined Cogent People to lead our newly established Project Management Office (PMO) and Quality Management Office (QMO). Mekel brings over eight years of extensive experience as a quality assurance management professional to Cogent People. Her expertise spans audit management, document control, and quality control analysis, making her a critical asset in driving operational excellence and customer satisfaction. She has actively contributed to several successful Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) and International Organization for Standardization (ISO) appraisals within the IT sector, showcasing her proficiency in implementing and maintaining high standards of quality assurance.

In her new role, Mekel will lead Cogent People’s efforts in developing and implementing robust processes across projects and teams. She will proactively monitor process compliance and spearhead continuous improvement initiatives to ensure consistency in service delivery and to elevate overall performance.
